As noted by TNW, research from the Stripe payment platform shows that British consumers love Apple Pay.
Stripe asked Brits about their preferred payment methods, with 27% saying they preferred Apple Pay as their checkout option when buying something online. In the U.S., only 14% say they use Apple’s mobile payment system.
Apple Pay is currently available in 22 countries: Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, New Zealand, Russia, Singapore, Spain, Switzerland, the UK, the U.S., Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Poland, and the United Arab Emirates.
