Might a new Apple display arrive along with a revamped Mac mini?

A report from Bloomberg says Apple will release a Mac mini focused at pro users later this year. New storage and processor options are likely to make it more expensive than previous versions, the article adds.

Bloomberg also claims that a 13-inch MacBook Air with retina display is coming soon. The article says it will include thinner bezels around the screen. However, the Sellers Research Group (that’s me) says that, while a 13-inch (non-Pro) Mac laptop is coming, it will be branded a “MacBook” with the “MacBook Air” moniker being phased out.

If we do get a new Mac mini in the next few months, might Apple release a new display? The tech giant says one is in the works; most folks think it will arrive in 2019 along with a revamped Mac Pro, but perhaps Apple will surprise us. If not, the company will doubtless tout the LG UltraFine displays as the monitors of choice for use with a Mac mini as well as Mac laptops.
