Apple is taking a small step to make it easier for enterprises to move from Windows systems to Macs. As noted by Computerworld, the challenge for Windows users upgrading to Macs has been in bringing all the data across to the new system.
Apple offers a Windows Migration Assistant to make it easier to migrate, and now it seems it is about to improve this solution when macOS Mojave arrives this fall. The new beta of macOS Mojave 10.14 includes an updated version of the data export tool. The additions found in this version include automatic online account transfers, and migration of “documents, email, and calendar data from programs such as Microsoft Outlook.”
