Apple offers way to help victims of flooding in Kerala, India

Apple has added banners to the iTunes Store and its App Stores so folks can donate to Mercy Corps and help who have been affected by the summer-long flooding in Kerala, India.

Floods in the southern Indian state of Kerala have killed more than 350 people since June. About 800,000 people have been displaced.

Mercy Corps is a global non-governmental, humanitarian aid organization operating in transitional contexts that have undergone, or have been undergoing, various forms of economic, environmental, social and political instabilities.

You can donate using credit and debit cards that are already on file with the iTunes Store and App Store. You can donate $5, $10, $25, $50, $100, or $200, all of  which goes to Mercy Corps.
