Apple makes it easy to make Red Cross Donations to add Northern California fire victims

Apple has added banners to the iTunes Store, Mac App Store, and Apple App Store for iOS allowing you to donate to the American Red Cross to support those who have been affected by the fires raging in Northern California. You can can donate $5, $10, $25, $50, $100, or $200, 100% of which goes to the Red Cross. 



As of Thursday, there were 18 wildfires burning across the state. The “Carr fire,” the largest fire now burning in California, grew to 126,913 acres and was 37% contained as of Thursday evening. The fire has killed six people in Shasta County, including two firefighters, and destroyed 1,555 structures.
