The global tablet applications processor (AP) market declined 6 % year-over-year to reach $445 million in the first three months of 2018, according to Strategy Analytics Handset Component Technologies service report, “Tablet Apps Processor Market Share Q1 2018: Intel and Qualcomm Gain Share.”
The research group says Apple, Intel, Qualcomm, MediaTek, and Samsung LSI captured the top-five revenue share spots in the global tablet applications processor (AP) market in quarter one of 2018. Apple maintained its tablet AP market lead with 36% revenue share, followed by Intel with 20% and Qualcomm with 17%.
