An icon that provides hints on the design we can expect to see in the upcoming 2018 iPad Pro models was spotted in the latest beta of iOS 12 by 9to5Mac. The icon seems to suggest that the upcoming iPad Pro models will feature thin bezels at the top and bottom of the device with the TrueDepth camera located in the top bezel rather than implemented through a notch design.
T-Mobile CEO John Legere says the Apple Watch helped drive subscriber growth in the second quarter of 2018. The company touted 1.6 million total net additions and 4 percent revenue growth year-over-year for the period.
Speaking of wireless carriers, a new J.D. Power study says that, or full-service carriers, T-Mobile ranks highest with a score of 839 out of a 1,000. AT&T and Verizon Wireless (804) rank second in a tie. The full-service segment average is 803. For non-contract full-service carriers, MetroPCS ranks highest with a score of 819. Boost Mobile (817) ranks second and Cricket (812) ranks third. The segment average is 811. For non-contract value carriers, Consumer Cellular ranks highest with a score of 882. Straight Talk (801) ranks second and TracFone (759) ranks third. The segment average is 799.
Apple has unveiled its plans for a retail store and event space in historic downtown L.A’s over Theater. The tech giant says will be one of the world’s most prominent stores.
