Notable apps and app updates for June 28, 2018

On a regular basis, Apple World Today posts a list of notable new apps or app updates that have been released. They may not necessarily be new, but they’re popular and deserve mention. Here are today’s picks.

macOS Apps/Updates

Parallels has launched Parallels Toolbox Packs that are designed “to help people save time on tedious tasks on their Mac or PC so they can accomplish their more important priorities.”

The packs include the Parallels Toolbox Presentation Pack, Parallels Toolbox Screen and Video Pack, and Parallels Toolbox Disk and System Pack. They include tools for making presentations, recording screen activities, converting video, downloading video, creating GIFs, cleaning a drive, and freeing memory.

Free trials of Parallels Toolbox Presentation Pack, Parallels Toolbox Screen and Video Pack, and Parallels Toolbox Disk and System Pack for both Windows or Mac, are available exclusively at parallels.com/toolbox. Each Parallels Toolbox Pack is available for $9.99 annually.

CS Odessa has updated its $25 Floor Plans solution that extends ConceptDraw Pro diagramming and vector drawing software with building elements.

The Floor Plans add-on includes collections of samples and libraries of vector stencils and icons that support the drawing of floor plans and premises layouts. The solution contains samples and libraries for designing house plans, apartment, and office layout plans. The update adds 10 new sample documents, redesigning previous samples and improving the associated vector object libraries.

ConceptDraw Pro is a business graphics and diagramming tool that can exchange documents with Microsoft Visio. It’s compatible with macOS and Windows and retails for $199 per end user license. It’s also included in ConceptDraw Office 4, which retails for $499.
