Apple Business Manager to launch in 34 countries on June 20

As noted by 9to5Mac, Apple announced at this week’s Worldwide Developer Conference that its Business Manager platform for enterprise users will launch globally in 34 countries starting June 20, followed by an expansion to another 31 countries this summer alongside Apple School Manager.

Apple Business Manager is a simple, web-based portal for IT administrators to deploy iOS, macOS, and tvOS devices all from one place. You can configure device settings, create accounts for all your managers, and buy and distribute apps and books.

If you’re already enrolled in the Device Enrollment Program (DEP) or the Volume Purchase Program (VPP), you can upgrade your existing programs to Apple Business Manager, bringing together everything needed to deploy iOS devices, Macs, and Apple TVs. The DEP is part of the Apple Deployment Programs (ADP), which helps businesses and educational institutions easily deploy and configure iOS and macOS devices. The VPP is a service that allows organizations that have registered for the Apple VPP to purchase iOS apps in bulk, but not at discounted prices.
