Protecting Your Privacy / GDPR

You have probably been seeing a lot of this type of post over the past couple of weeks. This post pertains to a new regulation, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), created by the EU Parliament to ensure that users’ electronic data across all organizations is protected and those organizations will be more transparent with how that data is used. This new regulation takes effect May 26th 2018.

What are we going to do?

We have always taken data protection and your privacy seriously and will continue to do so. This is just an update on our commitment to transparency and fulfilling the requirements set forth by the GDPR.

We encourage you to read our updated Privacy Policy in full, but here are the key updates that it includes:

  • More transparency on how and why we use your data and with whom it is shared;

  • More control we will offer over your personal data; and

  • Simple summaries of sections that are easy to understand.

Do you need to do anything?

You do not need to take any action, but we suggest that you review the updated policy here: https://appleworld.dreamhosters.com/privacy-policy. Decide if you would like to modify or remove any information that we may have stored on our platform. The changes take effect today, May 3, 2018. By using our services on or after that date, you are agreeing to these updates.

If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to reply to this email or contact us at privacy@appleworld.today.

Sincerely,

The Apple World Today Team
