You’ve probably heard that the next release of macOS is going to require 64-bit apps. If you have older 32-bit apps, the developers will need to update them before then. How do you know which apps are 32-bit and which are 64-bit?
You could use the included-with-macOS System Information app to determine which of your apps are 64-bit and which are not… But that’s awkward and there is no way to print the list of apps.
Alternately, you can use the free 32-bit Check application, which lets you save, print, and filter the list.
It would be better if it had a “Delete” button, but it’s still better than what you get from System Information… Fortunately, we’ve got at least a few more months before it actually matters…
