How to see if your Facebook data was shared with Cambridge Analytica

Facebook has been under a lot of scrutiny lately because of the disclosure that data gathered by a Facebook app was used by Cambridge Analytica to target political advertisements. In fact, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg is testifying to Congress today on the entire situation… Was your personal data used by Cambridge Analytica? There’s a very easy way to find out.

Click this link while signed into Facebook, and a page opens that describes the issue (“misuse of your Facebook data by apps and websites”) and whether or not your information was shared by Cambridge Analytica, which used an app called “This is your digital life” to harvest your data.

As you can see from the screenshot above, yours truly wasn’t affected by Cambridge Analytica and the Facebook follies. The rest of you may not be so lucky, so if you’re a Facebook user be sure to check this out.
