Catalyst introduces the Waterproof Case for the HomePod

Just in case you’d like to go scuba diving with your HomePod, Catalyst (www.catalystcase.com) has released the Catalyst Waterproof Case for Apple’s wireless speaker. Well, actually you can’t scuba dive with it, but you can, theoretically, sink the HomePod down to 33 feet with the case protecting it.

The $89 Waterproof Case boasts a double O-ring seal and marine grade stainless steel latches to a polycarbonate clear housing casing/unit with military grade impact protection (up to 6.6 feet).

According to the folks at Catalyst, the case is responsive to the Apple touch surface to allow you to control the music from the water and ensures that Siri can hear your commands even when swimming. It’s available in a “lime pop” flavor.
