In a report to clients — as noted by MacRumors — KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo says the low cost, 9.7-inch iPad Pro expected to debut at next week’s Apple education event will add Apple Pencil support.
He thinks Apple will add this support to differentiate its tablet form low-cost Android tablets. Kuo also expects Apple Pencil shipments to rise to nine million to 10 million units in 2018.
Apple’s education event will be held at 10 a.m. local time in Chicago on Tuesday, March 27.
