Apple ups its free iCloud storage for education from 5GB to 200GB

At today’s Apple education event in Chicago, Apple announced it’s increasing its free iCloud storage for education from 5GB up to 200GB.

The updated 200GB plans are only for students with school provided Apple IDs. Alas, the rest of us are still limited to 5GB of free storage and will have to pay $2.99 a month for 200GB.
