Why does Apple hate the adjective ‘the’?

Why does Apple hate the adjective “the”? I notice in the press release for the iMac Pro, it’s referred to as “the iMac Pro,” but just “iMac Pro” as in “Apple today released iMac Pro.”

Also, the iPhone is not “the iPhone,” but just “iPhone.” The iPad isn’t “the iPad,” simply “iPad.” The Apple Watch isn’t “the Apple Watch,” just “Apple Watch.” Maybe it’s the teacher in me, but that missing “the” bothers me.
