Sanjay Kaul (pictured), the head of Apple India, is quitting at a time when the tech giant reported its slowest pace of growth in India in over five years for the fiscal year that ended March 2017, reports The Economic Times.
Kaul, a Canadian citizen, was named country manager in May last year, after being sales director and head of iPhone sales since April 2011. Michel Coulomb, who was the managing director for South Asia operations at Apple, has been appointed his replacement.
The changes were announced Monday by Apple’s head of emerging markets Hugues Asseman on during Apple India’s annual sales conference in Goa.
