Portrait Lighting on the iPhone X allows you to control lighting effects with shadows, spotlights, and more. Although still in beta mode, it works pretty well.
In Portrait mode, just swipe right in the menu to choose an effect. You can also use the Photos app to edit lighting effects on Portrait mode photos shot on an iPhone X.
