Apple is now selling SIM-free models of the iPhone X, so you can buy the smartphone and add a carrier at your convenience.
The SIM-free models come unlocked and without an installed SIM card. They’re available for both GSM and CDMA networks. Pricing for SIM-free iPhone X’s are the SIM version: 64GB for $999 and 256GB units for $1,149.
