A Midnight Fog edition of the Nike Apple Watch Cellular + GPS will be available Tuesday, Nov. 14, at nike.com and Nike retail stores for $399. No info yet on whether it will be sold by Apple, as well, though I suspect it will.
The Midnight Fog smartwatch is designed as a match for the Midnight Fog Nike Air VaporMax running shoes ($190) that roll out Nov. 24 globally (and Nov. 27 in North America).
The Nike+ Run Club app is integrated into Apple Watch Nike+ editions and offers daily motivation through smart run reminders, challenges from friends and even alerts informing when the weather is right to get outside. Training data, including pace, distance and heart rate are available at a glance, and through shared run summaries, the app promotes friendly competition, even allowing users to send fist bumps to each other, right from the wrist.
