iOS 11 was released this week. However, one feature, Apple Pay Cash, will arrive in an update to iOS 11 (and watchOS 4) won’t arrive for a while. Apple says it’s coming this fall.
Speaking of iOS 11, iPhone users are likely to quickly adopt the operating system update based on current adoption analysis, according to a new set of StatCounter Global Stats.
Apple has also released watchOS 4, featuring a “proactive” Siri watch face, personalized Activity coaching and a new music experience. The update also sports an enhanced Workout app and introduces GymKit, a technology platform that will offer customers connected workouts with cardio equipment.
Finally, Apple has rolled out tvOS 11 with AirPlay 2, which offers multi-room audio support. It also includes the ability to automatically switch between light and dark interface modes.
Early reviewers for publications including The Verge and The Wall Street Journal have expressed connectivity issues with the Apple Watch Series 3, which will be available this Friday. Apple has issued a statement about the issue to The Verge .
