There’s going to be no shortage of Qi wireless charging mounts when the iPhone 8/8 Plus and iPhone X ship. Today, Scosche announced three new products that are part of its MagicMount line of magnetic, cradle-less mobile device mounts. The MagicMount CHARGE devices for vehicles, home/office, and for home/office/car will all be available in October, and provide a full 15W charging power.
The three models are:
MagicMount CHARGE (MPQWD) for vehicles – this model uses Scosche’s stickGRIP suction base to secure the charger to a dashboard or window.
MagicMount CHARGE (MPQOHM) for home and office – While still using the stickGRIP suction base, the home and office version includes an open design to facilitate full access to all controls and ports on your device.
MagicMount CHARGE (MPQHC) for home/office and car – This model uses the stickGRIP suction base, and includes a 5-foot AC wall adapter and a 3-foot 12V car charger, as well as a MagicPlate and MagicPlate Placement Template for optimal metal plate placement.
