Apple has has updated its iBooks Author app to version 2.6. It’s available for free at the Mac App Store for macOS 10.11 or higher.
iBooks is a free ebook app that allows you to read publications purchased at the iBook Store. iBooks Author lets you create iBooks textbooks (as well as other types of books) for the iPad and Mac. Version 2.6 allows you to:
- Add images and videos from the Photos app using the Media Browser or drag and drop.
- Adds support for wide color gamut images.
- Offers performance and stability improvements.
