Apple TV now works with Plex’s Live TV offering

Plex — the all-in-one, network agnostic media sharing server —announced the addition of several platforms to their Live TV offering, including Apple TV.

To use Live TV, Apple TV owners must have a Plex Pass subscription and a compatible digital antenna and tuner connected to a Plex Media Server. The feature supports non-encrypted broadcasts in over 70 countries, and includes a program guide with artwork, episode details, and search functions.

Plex Pass gives you exclusive access to new features and apps. You can record TV for free over the air, sync your media for offline enjoyment, rest easy with parental controls, and enjoy enhanced music, photo and video features.

Pricing is $4.99 per month, $39.99 per year or $119.99 for a lifetime subscription.
