Apple has officially reached its projections of its services alone being the equivalent to a Fortune 100 company.
In the third fiscal quarter of 2017, Apple reported $7.27 billion in revenue, up from $7.04 from the last quarter, and $5.98 billion in the year-ago quarter. Apple’s services revenue is gleaned from iTunes, iCloud, Apple Music, Apple Pay, AppleCare and the various App Stores.
Apple Chief Financial Officer Luca Maestri says that Apple has 185 million paid subscriptions across all services. Increase of almost 20M over last 90 days. And Apple Pay is coming to Finland and Sweden before the end of 2017, he adds.
What’s more, the company’s enterprise business continues to expand. Maestri says that iOS is “transforming” enterprise. For example, Walmart plans to deploying more than 19,000 iPads for employee training across all 50 U.S. states.
