All of you folks who are in love with GIF animated images, prepare to go wild with iOS 11. It appears that the Photos app adds support for GIFs, automatically placing them into a folder of animated images. Tapping on any of the GIFs puts them into motion, and they can then be added to Messages or emails. Previously, animated GIFs only worked in messaging and third-party apps and there was really no place to store them for continued reuse.
If you were one of the folks who was shelling out $9.99 per month for a 1 TB iCloud storage plan, you got a nice gift this morning. Apple has done away with the 1 TB plan, doubling the amount of storage available to 2 TB for the same price.
