iOS Apps/Updates
Vidih is a new service that empowers iPod, iPad and iPhone users to record and live stream anything on their device to Twitch, YouTube and Facebook Live, complete with microphone audio for easy, real-time narration. It was developed to work within Apple’s strict requirements, so users never break a single iOS rule by using Vidih.
macOS Apps/Updates
I2E Consulting has announced Project Planning Pro 2.7.6, an update to their project and task management app for macOS. The app is designed to offer complete project mobility, and is available on macOS, iOS, and Android devices. Users can quickly create a project plan. Version 2.7.6 brings the ability to sync projects between iOS and macOS device using the same iCloud account, as well as bug and crash fixes.
Project Planning Pro 2.7.6 requires macOS 10.10 or later. It costs $34.99 and is available worldwide through the Mac App Store.
Daniel Alm has launched Timing 2, an update to his time tracking application for macOS. It records how much time the user has spent on apps, documents and websites.
This data can then be used to analyze one’s productivity, essential for billing hours. Version 2.0 introduces a completely new interface, automatic productivity score estimation, and the ability to automatically detect blocks of time that belong together, for even more accurate time sheets.
Timing 2 requires macOS 10.11 or higher. It’s offered in three variants on the developer’s website. The “Productivity” edition ($29) tracks all details on how apps are used. The “Professional” edition adds support for creating tasks, manual start/stop timers and has reporting functionality. The “Expert” edition comes with more filtering options, customized reports, and AppleScript support.
