OK, so this isn’t big news, but it’s actually quite interesting. iCloud.com, which has displayed a static, blue-to-yellow gradient background for the past three years, now has a dynamic wallpaper on both the login and “home” screens.
The backdrop features what I’d refer to as “floating bokeh,” referring to the blurred, out of focus patches of light seen in the background of photos that are focused on a foreground object. Those blobs of light actually react to where the mouse pointer appears on the screen, changing direction to head towards the pointer.
