Special Apple pricing on USB-C displays, accessories ends March 31

If you want to buy displays and USB-C peripherals for the 2016 MacBook, scoop ‘em now as discounted prices end tomorrow, March 31. The new MacBook Pro has Thunderbolt 3/USB-C ports, which have a different connector than that of USB-A devices and cables like the iPhone sync cable. 

In a November 2016 statement Apple said, “We recognize that many users, especially pros, rely on legacy connectors to get work done today and they face a transition. We want to help them move to the latest technology and peripherals, as well as accelerate the growth of this new ecosystem.”

The LG UltraFine 5K Display is now priced at $974, a $325 price cut from its original price of $1,299.95. The LG UltraFine 4K Display is now priced at $524, a $175 price cut from its original price of $699.95. Apple is also offering a variety of adapters and cables at discounts until April 1.
