Notable apps and app updates for March 2, 2017

On a regular basis, Apple World Today posts a list of notable new apps or app updates that have been released. They may not necessarily be new, but they’re popular and deserve mention. Here are today’s picks.

iOS Apps/Updates

Rapid Turtle Games has introduced Drop Files 1.0. In the free game, players must drag and drop incoming files to the right folders, handling simple tasks, and dealing with viruses and trash files. Each file has its own folder, like photos go to the photos folder, music files to music folder and more.

Nexon and developer Neople have launched After the End: Forsaken Destiny. In the 3D puzzle adventure game, players discover an ancient world rendered with shades of natural light, while embarking on the parallel journey of father and son, separated by time. After the End: Forsaken Destiny can be downloaded for $3.99 on the App Store.

AmpliFi, the Wi-Fi solution/mesh network, has released a mobile update that allows users the option to remotely manage their AmpliFi system via Wi-Fi or cellular data. You can now control your Wi-Fi system from anywhere using your Facebook or Google account on iOS. There’s also a new parental control option that allows you to define user profiles for family members and specify which devices belong to each profile.
