Apple subsidiary Beats will have the $149.95 BeatsX wireless headphones available for purchase in the U.S. on Feb.10. Scoop one up and you’ll get three free months of Apple Music, which costs $9.99 per month (or $4.99 for students).
A card with the bonus is included in the box, YouTube host Jonathan Morrison noted in a clip comparing the earbuds with Apple’s AirPods. Naturally, since I paid for ‘em myself, no such card is bundled with the latter.
The BeatsX not only use the W1 chip found in Apple’s own AirPods, but also use in-ear earbuds instead of the “earpod-like” design of the AirPods. They’re available now in black and white colors, but blue and grey versions are supposedly in the works.
