Apple VP of government/enterprise sales says goodbye

John Solomon, an Apple vice president responsible for government and enterprise sales, has left the company. Representatives for Apple confirmed the departure, but didn’t offer an explanation, Reuters reports.

The executive appears to have no particular destination in mind, as his LinkedIn profile mentions only “tbd” under job title and company fields.

Solomon was Senior Vice President and General Manager of Printers & Personal Systems (PPS) Division, a Division of HP Company since April 2012 until moving to Apple. He served as Senior Vice President of Imaging and Printing Group (ipg) – Asia Pacific & Japan Region of Hewlett-Packard Company from 2010 to 2012.

Solomon also held a number of global and regional senior management positions for HP, including leading IPG’s supplies go-to-market unit for the Asia Pacific and Japan region. This role included sales, marketing, operations and business development.

Solomon holds a Bachelor of Science in industrial engineering from the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa and an MBA from the University of Washington.
