More CES 2017 fun, this time from Twelve South. The Charleston, S.C.-based design house has just announced the $29.99 ActionSleeve, billed as the “first armband for Apple Watch.”
Available in three sizes — 38mm, 42mm, and 42mm slim (for slender arms) — ActionSleeve holds your band-less Apple Watch securely to your bicep with Velcro™ closures. The accessory provides a way to keep your Watch from damage when lifting weights. Twelve South notes that the tight fit can actually improve tracking of heart rate for many users.
The 38mm and 42mm versions come in a choice of black or red, while the 42mm slim model is available only in black. We’ll check with Twelve South on getting an ActionSleeve for a full review.
