Have you looked at the Apple website today? Many people may not notice a difference, but a pretty drastic change took place in the last 24 hours. The default font for the site is now San Francisco, the same default font used in all current Apple operating systems.
As a middle-aged person who has worn glasses since childhood, I welcome the change. San Francisco is a much more readable font, particularly when applied to the smaller type at the bottom of the Apple.com home page. Headlines seem more bold as well, as you can see in the image at the top of this post.
Of course, not everyone is going to like the change; I’ve already seen griping from certain bloggers who think the font change has ruined the website. What do you think about the move to San Francisco? Leave your comments below!
