Apple’s Support app for iPhone and iPad is a really useful tool to have, giving users instant access to support articles on a variety of topics as well as a way to immediately work with an Apple rep through chat, phone or email. This week, the app was expanded to France, Germany, Spain and the UK, bringing the total number of markets covered by the Support app to 22.
The free app identifies all devices linked to a specific Apple ID, displays guides for common issues or tasks, and also offers a fast way to set up appointments with Apple retail Genius Bar personnel or Apple Authorized Service Provider.
Support was first rolled out in the Netherlands last November, followed by the US, Turkey and Sweden in December. Users in Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Liechtenstein, Macau, Mexico, Netherlands, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom and the United States can all use the app on any iOS device running iOS 9 or later.
