Apple has released iBooks StoryTime for the fourth generation Apple TV. It’s a free tvOS app that offers curated children’s books with Read-Aloud navigation and illustrations.
iBooks StoryTime, as you might guess from the title, ties into the iBooks app and iBookStore. When Read-Aloud narration is turned on, book pages flip automatically as readers progress through a title. With the feature turned off, parents and kids can flip through the book using Siri Remote.
To promote the app, Apple is offering users a free download of Dora’s Big Buddy Race Read-Along Storybook. Other titles (but they’re not free) include Green Eggs and Ham, The Little Red Hen, Goodnight Moon, Big Brother Daniel, and more.
