Western Digital has introduced modern redesigns of its My Passport, My Passport for Mac, and My Book hard drive lines made in partnership with fuseproject, an industrial design and branding firm.
The new drives sport password protection and hardware encryption so customers will love their hard drive as much as they cherish the content stored on it. As part of the reimagined design, the My Passport drives will come in six colors: black, yellow, red, white, orange and blue.
My Passport portable hard drives fit in the palm of your hand. They now sport a new design with a textured bottom and password protection with 256-bit AES hardware encryption. They come in up to 4TB capacity.
My Passport for Mac drives also come in models with up to 4TB of storage. They’re formatted for macOS and are Time Machine ready for easy backup.
My Book desktop hard drive provides high capacity backup for Mac and PCs. Features include password protection with hardware encryption and automatic backup with included WD Backup software. My Books come in up to 8TB capacity.
