AWT News Update: October 13, 2016

For a slow Apple news day, we have some fun stories for you:

  • A new feature in Facebook for iOS will have you multitasking
  • The newly renovated Regent Street Apple Store in London is reopening this Saturday, with some nice new features
  • Those Australian Apple Store employees we talked about yesterday? Turns out they didn’t steal customer photos
  • A fun new GIPHY channel features GIFs from the US National Archives

Products on the vintage and obsolete list are, for the most part, no longer eligible for hardware service, beyond a few exceptions. Apple defines vintage products as those that haven’t been manufactured for more than five years, but less than seven years ago. Obsolete products are those that were discontinued more than seven years ago. Each of the products added were released between 2009 and 2010.
