In a note to clients — as noted by 9to5Mac — KGI analyst Ming-Chi Kuo estimates that 5-7 million Samsung smartphone users will switch to the iPhone 7 in lieu of the company’s debacle with the Galaxy Note 7.
He feels the iPhone 7 Plus will be the greatest beneficiary thanks to its dual camera. Kuo says Note 7 users will have lost faith in the Samsung brand and have a tendency to like iOS and camera features, making the new iPhone an attractive sale.
