It wasn’t mentioned during today’s event, but sharp-eye Team AWT member dubsdotla (Derek Scott) pointed out that macOS Sierra now has a release date — September 20.
What that means is that there probably will NOT be an Apple event to announce new Macs, unless it’s still in October. Most pundits thought that Apple was going to wait until mid or late October to release macOS Sierra, with a pre-release event to show off new Macs.
