Time flies. It seems like it was just a couple of weeks ago that Apple held its Q3 earnings call, and now it has announced that the final earnings report of the 2016 Apple fiscal year will be released on October 27, 2016.
As usual, the company will release earnings after the close of the stock markets on that date, followed shortly thereafter by the live streamed earnings call. If you’re not familiar with the format, Apple CEO Tim Cook and CFO Luca Maestri both point out highlights of the previous quarter’s financial performance before answering questions from leading Wall Street analysts.
Expect to hear news on how well the new iPhone 7 and 7 Plus are selling, as well as hints on how well the Apple Watch Series 2 is doing (Apple never discloses how many are sold). Likewise, if there is a Mac/iPad announcement before October 27, we’ll be sure to hear about the early sales performance of those devices.
We’ll remind you of the earnings call before the 27th, and provide you with an update on the numbers as soon as they’re published by Apple.
