Ravpower’s USB-C Quick Charge Cable helps eliminate cable fray for 12-inch MacBook owners. And I suspect it will be handy for those who buy the next gen MacBook Pros that I expect to roll out no later than October.
It’s a Lightning to USB cable made of thick, sturdy PVC; you’ll have to consciously try to tear or break it. The USB-C Quick Charge Cable packs an authorization chip issued by Apple to ensure compatibility with any Lightning enabled iPad or iPhone. I’ve found it to be totally reliable for charging or uploading/downloading files.
The USB-C Quick Charge Cable is plenty long at 6.6 feet (two meters). Yet it’s small enough to fit most case cutouts — although it doesn’t work with the LifeProof case for the iPhone 6/6s.
I’ve tried lots of Lightning cables, and this is one of the best. You can grab a USB-C Quick Charge Cable at Amazon for around $11.
