Hunter Fan Company has rolled out their Wi-Fi enabled Signal ceiling fan, which supports Apple HomeKit technology and seamlessly with other HomeKit-enabled products.
HomeKit allows users to securely control each fan – or a group of fans – from one place using the upcoming iOS 10 Home app or Siri on their iPhone, iPad, or Apple Watch. Users can set up HomeKit-enabled products to work together based on triggers, such as having the fan’s light turn on the moment the fire alarm detects smoke or creating a scene that automatically turns on the fan’s light and locks your front door simultaneously. HomeKit technology provides advanced security with end-to-end encryption and authentication between the fan and the iOS device.
The Signal sports a contemporary and sleek design with satin nickel housing, reversible wooden-finished blades. It retails for $379.
