It may be a one-trick pony, but it’s a nifty one-trick pony for Final Cut Pro X users

By Aaron Lee

Conner Productions’s Seal is a one trick pony, but it’s a pretty nifty trick. It’s a professional template to make introductory seal titles for Apple’s Final Cut Pro X (FCP X). And it’s free.

Seal is customizable and lets you create introduction seals for your videos,  featuring a spinning seal that comes into focus. Its easy to customize text color, background color, and other elements to craft the template to fit within a video. Conner Production has made installing Seal easy. Just run the simple installer, then fire up Final Cut Pro X. You’ll find it under Title Templates, then “Conner Productions.” It’s name is “Seal.” Simply drag it onto the timeline and you’re off.

No matter how long the text is or how much the title is tweaked, it will still have a refined l feel. Seal was designed in Apple’s Motion, and features organic gaussian blurs, noise, and stylistic effects.

Conner Productions is offering Seal as a free download; it’s compatible with Final Cut Pro X and Motion. There’s no watermark, and the template is fully functional and customizable.
