Back on this day in 2007, I spent pretty much all day waiting in line to get one of the first iPhones. Now, there were problems getting the devices — which were only on the AT&T/Cingular network at first — activated, but that was OK. My wife and I had tickets to go see another Steve Jobs-influenced product that day (Disney/Pixar’s Ratatouille), so I waited somewhat patiently until the 30th to get my iPhone up and running.
During that day I shot a lot of video, and that’s what you’re going to see below. This isn’t professionally done, but I talked to a number of people in line and you’ll also see what the inside of an Apple Store looked like circa 2007 — there were a line of shelves in the middle of the store to hold all of the software boxes…
