At $109, the laptop sleeve is pricey, but you’re paying for value. It’s made of “heirloom quality” leather laptop sleeve that’s custom fit to the teeny laptop’s dimensions. It also cradles the MacBook leather cut by WaterField’s artisans from one hide. It’s designed to model to the laptop over time for a perfect fit.
The interior of the cognac-colored Atelier Folio — comprised of red Ultrasuede scratch-free microfiber — offers a modicum of protection for the laptop’s frame. The laptop sleeve closes with a magnetic snap to keep the MacBook from escaping.
If you mainly use the laptop at home or at the office, you can find less expensive sleeves. However, if you and your MacBook are on-the-go frequently, your Apple notebook can travel in style with the classy Atelier Folio.
