Listen to Beats 1 on your Apple TV via AirPlay.
Apple Music is live and ready. You can tune into Apple’s 24 hour radio station, Beats 1, on your iOS device or Mac running iTunes 12.2. That’s great, but some customers have their premium sound system connected to their home entertainment system, including the Apple TV. Fortunately, it’s easy to listen to Beats 1 via Apple TV.
Right now, the iTunes Radio app on Apple TV does not have access to Beats 1. That could change, but we’ll have to wait and see. For now, follow these steps.
While listening to Beats 1 via the Apple Music app on your iOS device, and tap the AirPlay button. Lastly, select your Apple TV and you’re good!
Hopefully the iTunes Radio button will be updated to include Beats 1. Until then, AirPlay works.
