It’s Father’s Day weekend, and time is running short to get a gift. If you need some last-minute ideas, then look no further as we have compiled a handy list of physical and digital presents that you can purchase right away.

Best Buy has one advantage over its online competition — you can walk into a store and come out with an excellent Father’s Day gift. It also has a Father’s Day sale this week with discounts on popular items such as the iPad mini 3, the GoPro HERO4 Silver, Dr. Dre Powerbeats 2 Earbuds and MacBooks.

Make an Apple Store trip

The Apple Store typically doesn’t have a Father’s Day sale, so you may want to stick to Best Buy or possibly Staples if you are looking for discounts. You local Apple Store is worth a visit if you are in the market for something different for Dad. Apple carriers a variety of Apple accessories and stand-alone gadgets that you don’t see in other retail stores. You even can shop online using the Apple Store app and arrange to pick up the items in the store on the same day.

Now that the Apple Watch is available in retail stores, you may want to consider purchasing the wearable device for your Apple-loving family member. The Watch is being sold via a reservation system that allows you to secure your model of choice starting at 8:00 a.m. local time each day.

You can’t go wrong with a printed photo of the kids or grandkids doing something adorable. One easy way to create a stunning collage is to turn to retailers such as Walgreens, CVS or Rite Aid, which allow to create and print photos directly on your iPhone or iPad. It only takes a few minutes to download their app, browse your iOS photo roll for the perfect shot and place a photo printing order. Depending on the location, a basic 8×10 photo can be ready within an hour.

iTunes Gift Cards

If you are not sure what to get your Pop, you can always pick up an iTunes gift card that can be used to purchase apps, music and books from Apple’s digital media storefronts. Target is selling email-delivery iTunes Gift cards in a buy one, get one 30% deal. The order processing time is quick with the redemption codes arriving in your email inbox within four hours. Best Buy also is selling iTunes gift cards for 10% off, but you will need to do store pickup if you want them in time for Sunday.

One useful gift that is both last minute and thoughtful is an app shopping spree curated by you, the gift giver. Think of what your father enjoys doing and then purchase a selection of apps that he can install. For many folks, the hardest part of owning an iOS device is not using it to its full potential because they can’t find the right apps to suit their needs. Give Dad a head start by doing some of the curation on his behalf.
