Apple yesterday updated its executive leadership webpage to reflect Lisa Jackson’s new role as Vice President of Environment, Policy, and Social Initiatives, following a leaked memo published by the Washington Post that detailed these changes.
Jackson previously left her administrator position at the US Environmental Protection Agency and joined Apple in 2013 as the Vice President of Environmental Initiatives. Her expanded role for policy and social initiatives will allow Jackson to guide Apple’s environmental efforts, educational policy programs, product accessibility work and global governmental affairs, says Apple.
