I’ll be the first to admit that I don’t use my Olloclip iPhone lens kits as much as I could. There’s a reason for that — I hate having to take my slim-line case off of my iPhone 6 Plus just to be able to shoot an ultra wide-angle, telephoto or macro photo with one of the lenses. That’s about to change, since Olloclip has announced the new Ollocase for iPhone 6 and 6 Plus (US$29.95).
The case comes in two sizes for the two big iPhones, as well as in two colors — matte smoke with black sides or matte clear with dark gray sides. While at first glance it looks like the Ollocase is just another slimline case, it has a design that is specific to the Olloclip. There’s a cutout on the top near the cameras that the Olloclip slides right into. No more do you need to worry about keeping your iPhone 6 or 6 Plus unprotected just to be able to use the Olloclip, and you don’t have to pull off a case to use your lenses.
This is a product I’m pre-ordering, as I want to be able to use my iPhone 6 Plus with my Olloclip 4-in-1 and Telephoto + CPL lenses this summer.
